Because I was trained to write from a storytelling pespoective. So whether I'm writing a 5,000-word article, a feature or corporate script, a blog, a print ad, or even a tiny ad banner, I tell a complete story--with a compelling beginning, middle, and ending.
After graduating from Art Center College of Design, in Pasadena, California, with a master's degree from their prestigious film program (concentrating in screenwriting), I worked in film production while honing my skills in script writing. My writing soon expanded into corporate scripts, which then evolved into virtually every type of marketing writing and into the world of journalism as well. Over the past decade, I've put my skills to work for EarthLink, Experian Consumer Direct, and SureFire, LLC as thier senior writer, creating pretty much every type of marketing collateral as well as writing page-turning feature articles, newsletters, and advertorials. Everywhere I've worked, I've brought a fresh perspective and elevated the work--and the brand--to the next level. Now I'm doing the same as a freelancer for a stable of clients that includes Advanced Bionics, iMedia Connection, and SureFire.
