Some writers are great at snappy headlines, while others excel at creating compelling longer-form content. With me, you get a unique blend of both. Because I was trained to write from a storytelling point of view. So, whether I'm writing a 3,000-word article, a script, a print ad, or a tiny ad banner, I tell a compelling story--with a beginning, a middle, and an end.
After graduating from Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California, with a Master's Degree in Film (concentrating in scriptwriting), I worked in film and video production while honing my screenwriting skills. Along the way, I started writing corporate video scripts for several Seattle-based companies, including Carabiner Communications, Culp Productions, and ScreenPlay Video Marketing. My scriptwriting soon expanded into marketing writing and journalism.
Over the past nine years, I've put my writing skills to work for EarthLink, Experian Consumer Direct, and SureFire, LLC as a senior writer, creating virtually every type of marketing collateral and writing feature articles and newsletters. No matter where I've worked, I've brought a fresh perspective and taken the work to the next level. Now I'm doing the same as a freelancer for clients like Advanced Bionics, iMedia Connection, and SureFire.
